What is ULTRA festival?
How much does it cost?
ULTRA festival is our way of celebrating World Ultrarunning Day. It’s a weekend of talks and panel discussions with ultrarunners from all around the world, each with years of experience and so much knowledge to offer, all delivered to the comfort of your home via Zoom.
Where do I sign up?
Does any of the money go to charity?
100% of proceeds from ULTRA festival goes to a great cause – the Chris Lewis Support Fund. Chris is a Lake District mountain rescue team member who, in February this year, fell down a steep slope while assisting a rescue and sustained life-changing injuries. More details and opportunities to donate more funds here.
Who is speaking at the talks?
Lots of really interesting and experienced people! Lineup to date is here – but we may add one or two more surprises in before the start.
How can I ask a question during a talk?
There will be a chat window open next to each talk during the initial broadcast slot between 30th April and 2nd May. Most talks are pre-recorded, but many speakers will be around during the initial broadcast to chat with attendees. Feel free to ask anything, but please remain respectful.
Can I submit questions in advance?
Occasionally speakers have requested questions, which we have put to our community on Facebook here. Feel free to join – there are thousands of very experienced ultrarunners there.
Can festival attendees catch up on talks they missed?
Yes. Attendees will be able to watch all talks until the end of June. Following that we will put as many as possible onto our freely available YouTube channel, where rights allow.
